The W.O.R.D. Method of studying the Bible

Many of you have probably heard of, or have maybe even used, the S.O.A.P Method, which is a wonderful method of studying the WORD of God, but is not unique to Balanced Living Bible Study...so we designed our own.

If you join our study, we read just ONE chapter a day, Monday - Friday. We provide you with the Weekly Reading Plan as well #VerseOfTheDay selections and #DailyReflectionQuestions to consider.
The best way to see these, besides here, is our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/A-Faith-Filled-Life-1552684925046477/

The beauty of this method of study is that you can join us at any time, all are welcome!! Just jump right in where we are, and use your "off" days (over the weekend) to catch up, or revisit the chapters you may have "missed" when you have time. It's really easy and it's FREE!

We believe studying the Bible should be affordable and available to ALL, so we offer our WORD Guides for FREE and offer our #VerseOfTheDay and #DailyReflectionQuestions on our Facebook Page. Our Complete Study Guides, which contain the WORD Guide, the Verses of the Day & the Daily Reflection Question, for just $1.99!!

Here's how to use the W.O.R.D. Method:

While we read God’s word, we soak in the scripture using the W.O.R.D. Method:

W - Word of God (Write down your favorite verse(s) from todays scripture.)
or use the verse we have selected for you!

O - Observations (What did you observe while reading God’s word)
write down what sticks out to you, while you read the selected chapter. Some ladies outline the reading, others summarize, there is no wrong way to do this.

R - Reflect (Apply what God said to you today to your daily life.)
What did this chapter reveal to you - how can you implement the concepts or commands in your life today? You can also use this space to answer our Daily Reflection Questions too!

D - Devotion (What do you feel compelled to tell God in prayer.)
This is one of my favorite parts of studying the Bible - praying after reading God's word. Sometimes my prayers are short and simple, and other times the words flow freely, and I fill the entire page!

Lastly, we urge you to consider joining one of our virtual Facebook Study Groups. Just "LIKE" our Facebook Page for more information! The community of women we have studying the bible are incredible, they are supportive, insightful, and consistent.
