God confused the languages of the world, so that
the people building the city of Bable would be stopped. For they were following
their own will and not God’s.
Do you speak a foreign language? How do you use
your gift of another language to spread God’s will?
Tuesday
Reflection Question for the day: Be a
Blessing.
God has blessed you, so that you will be a blessing
to others.
What do you do to be a blessing to the people in
your life?
(What do you do daily, weekly, monthly, yearly?)
How else could you be a blessing to others?
Wednesday
Reflection Question for the day: Let There
Be No Strife.
Strife, as defined by the Webster’s Dictionary, is
angry or bitter disagreement over fundamental issues; conflict. We tend to have
more heated disagreements with the people that are closest to us (family),
because they are our family! Yet, God wants us to resolve our strife because we
are family.
Have you ever had strife with a close friend or
family member? What was the fundamental issue you disagreed on? How did you
work to resolve it? If you haven’t, how could you resolve it now?
Thursday
Reflection Question for the day: Take the
High Road
God will bless you, if you are living according to
his Will, and will deal with those who curse you. You need only to have faith,
for so long as you are living justly, you need not stoop to the level of those
who “curse you.”
Although sometimes taking the high road might seem
easier said than done, how do you “take the high road?” How does God help you
to rise above the drama? Or stay out of it?
Friday
Reflection Question for the day: He is
your Shield!
Isn’t that a comforting thought! The Creator, God
the Almighty, has your back – all you have to do is have faith in Him!
What has he guarded you from? How did/ does God
shielded you?
