Monday - Reflection Question
Reflection Question for the day: God is
with You!
At what times in our life has God been by your
side? What difference did His presence make in the situation? How did you know
He was with you?
Tuesday - Reflection Question
Reflection Question for the day: Cursed or
Blessed.
You have a choice! God curses those who curse you,
so are you making sure that you aren’t cursing anyone else either. Who in your
life needs blessings? List their names and add them to your prayer list.
Wednesday - Reflection Question
Reflection Question for the day: Put Your
Money Where Your Mouth Is.
Jacob declares that if God keeps him safe on his
journey, the Lord shall be his God. He further states that he will faithfully
pay 1/10th of everything God has given him to the house of God.
How do you give back to God? What do you give of
your time, your spirit, and your purse?
Thursday - Reflection Question
Reflection Question for the day: Equality.
Although this verse is part of the love story
between Jacob, Leah and Rachel…the lesson of equality stands out. God favored
Leah, because Jacob loved Rachel more. Since Leah was not treated fairly (or
equally), God favored her over Rachel, even though Jacob favored Rachel.
Do you treat everyone in your life the same? Who do
you favor? What makes that person (or those people) stand out above the rest? What
could you do differently, so that no one feels unloved, when around you?
Friday - Reflection Question
Reflection Question for the day: All in
God’s Time.
Recall a time in your life when you wanted something
so badly, but didn’t get it. Maybe you had been waiting so long, you’d almost
given up hope that you’d ever get it, but then God’s blessings rained down. Why
do you think God make you wait? How did you thank Him?
